To further develop students’ ability in concept/image generation for communication and enhance students’ ability to research and analyse design problems so as to respond effectively.
Methods of designing a range of visual communications; methods of manipulating type and image. Research, experimentation and application of creative problem solving methods to design problems in a range of formats and contexts. Techniques of analysis and response to client briefs, and individual design proposals. Issues in professional practice and role of designers in society.
