To introduce students to skills in the process of design, and to establish the relationships between design theory, research, creative processes and practice as a general principle of design procedures.
The students will develop ways-of-working using methods such as: idea generation, the analysis of function, basic research skills, and creative problem solving. The students will use these methods in specific project-based outcomes to explore ideas and image development within a collaborative studio environment.
