To apply core professional and communication knowledge and skills required for gerontology physiotherapy practice in an interprofessional setting.
Students will develop knowledge and skills required to work with older people (including Aboriginal peoples) on issues of ageing such as physiotherapy assessment principles and techniques; rehabilitation principles, managing issues of mental health and end of life care, managing issues of service provision (including interprofessional practice).
