To develop knowledge and skills of physiotherapy practice with people across the lifespan who have cardiorespiratory, neurological or orthopaedic conditions requiring physiotherapy input in acute and rehabilitation settings.
Pathophysiology, biopsychosocial constructs, physiotherapy assessment and management techniques, and interprofessional, person-centred approaches to management of selected cardiorespiratory, neurological and orthopaedic conditions across the lifespan. Principles and application of skills for safe, professional manual handling in acute and rehabilitation settings.
