To build on students' knowledge of art related cinema and to the key themes and discourses of film theory.
Students will be exposed to a range of critically sourced information concerning film as both an art form and as a significant aspect in the history of 20th century visual culture. Students will acquire skills pertaining to film criticism and to the requisite issues of film theory, across a range of potential technological applications.
