Course aim

To enable students to develop an insightful understanding of organisational strategies and the concepts upon which they are built.

Course content

Examine strategic concepts and the application of analytical tools; strategy formulation and implementation; competitive advantage; problem solving and decision making; creative thinking, innovation and alternative strategic concepts; managing paradox; globalisation; international strategy, emerging markets; environmental scanning; internal resources and environments; business, corporate and network level strategy.
