Course aim

To provide students with a detailed knowledge, and practical experience, of standard systems engineering processes and phases used to develop and manage complex systems.

Course content

Needs identification, requirements analysis, functional analysis, requirements allocation, trade studies, synthesis of functional architectures, synthesis of physical architectures, functional and physical interface definition, systems engineering management activities, specifications and baselines, process tailoring, system lifecycle models.
