To introduce students to advanced TV news reporting skills, and to give students familiarity in a studio environment and experience in elements of TV news reporting and presentation skills.
Contribution to TV news program to be streamed online and/or broadcast on community Station Channel 31; preparation of at least one packaged TV story every two to three weeks; experience of newsroom roles such as chief of staff and producer; compiling television news stories; editing procedures; producing skills and working to deadlines; scripting for TV news; interviewing techniques; identifying potential TV news stories; personal presentation according to industry standards; producing; Chief of Staffing; working as a team member.
