Course aim

To enable students to understand the integral link between organisational change and organisational sustainability and equip students with a working knowledge of the organisational change literature and understanding of organisational politics and the processes involved in leading and managing change.

Course content

Multiple perspectives, managerial images, and approaches in leading and managing organisational change; reasons for and diagnosis for what needs to change in the organisation; skills in leading and managing organisational change; planning for change; stakeholder analysis and response and resistance to change; strategies for communicating change; implementing change; consolidating change, contextualised in local and international cases.
