To introduce students to the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum area in middle years and lower secondary schooling contexts.
Students will be introduced to the theoretical basis of studies of Humanities and Social Sciences in the middle and lower secondary school, the core values and perspectives, teaching and learning approaches, methods and resources and the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum content and organisation within the ACARA framework.
