The aim of this course is to investigate curriculum issues associated with the learning area and consider alternate approaches and innovation in professional practice.

Course content

Critical issues and philosophical orientation in Health and Physical Education; innovative practice and strategies for working with diverse learners; alternative teaching approaches and innovative curriculum experiences in Health and Physical Education; determining influences and processes in curriculum design in Health and Physical Education.
