To provide an advanced understanding and skill development in reference to conflict occurring in personal and professional capacities.
Awareness of self and own dominant style of communication - attitudes towards openness, self-disclosure and trust in communication; effective skills in conflict management - paraphrasing, reflecting, asking open questions; assertive self management - dealing assertively with conflict situations; managing and understanding sources of anger, values about anger and conflict; levels and types of conflict; cultural diversity and conflict; conflict theory.
