Journalism Ethics

Course aim

To develop awareness of ethical issues affecting journalists and to create an opportunity for discussion and consideration of these issues.

Course content

Students will develop familiarity with and understanding of ethical dilemmas in journalism, with a particular focus on reporting on minority groups and specialised journalism techniques. They will examine issues surrounding journalism codes of conduct and enforcement of standards.
