At the end of this course students will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in respect to the design and construction of industrial and commercial buildings.
Site investigations; industrial buildings - foundations, footings, structural systems, walling systems, roofing and rainwater disposal, and floors; commercial buildings - structural systems and materials, cladding systems, suspended floors, roofing, fitting out floor areas and preliminary temporary works and planning for services.
