At the end of this course students will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in respect to domestic building construction
Historical development of domestic construction. The supporting and enclosing functions of buildings. Operations of small building companies. Building elements and components and their sequencing including site clearing, foundations, footings, floors, walls, roofs and finishing trades. Elementary building services. Building regulations and standards, titles, set out of buildings, levelling and site works.
