The aim of this course is to challenge students to demonstrate that they have the understanding of research skills by completing an independent piece of research and detailing this as a minor thesis.
Each student will: conduct an independent research investigation, supervised by a suitably qualified member of staff; maintain progress of work in accordance with the stages and timelines agreed with the supervisor; and, prepare and submit for examination a minor thesis or thesis by publication.
