The aim of this course is to develop the knowledge, experience and skills required for the creation of effective multimedia games.
The creative process; writing for multimedia and games; graphic and interface design; content acquisition and organisation; navigational structures; instructional design, interactivity; accessibility; authoring issues: representation of game actions and states, game personalisation, storing data externally, reusability, advanced scripting, platform issues; WWW interfaces; legal and copyright issues; project and resource management; project evaluation.
