Introduction to Psychological Assessment

Course aim

To introduce students to reliable and valid measures of behaviour and psychological characteristics and the limitations of psychological assessment.

Course content

History of psychological assessment, normative assessment and interpretation of test scores, reliability, validity, social and ethical issues in test administration, behavioural assessment, assessment applications in a variety of contexts (e.g., cross-cultural, special populations).
