Course aim

To enable students to gain experience as a member of the teaching team in a sessional preschool setting, planning, implementing and evaluating appropriate learning programs.

Course content

Implement, explain and evaluate the play curriculum; integrate emerging literacy, numeracy, science and technology; working with parents and the wider community; practice observation techniques; limit setting; critical reflection ; current research.
