To enable students to design and implement arts curriculum for children from Birth to 8 years.
Students will develop knowledge of principles and processes of teaching and learning in the arts, children’s development in the arts, children’s cognitive competence in relation to the arts, arts materials and resources, multimodal learning in the arts, arts curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation, diversity in the arts in Australia and educational issues relating to the arts.
