To extend students insight and critical thinking into the issues confronting contemporary society which relate to leisure, work and lifestyle choice, how these concepts will change in to the future and how these changes are actually predictable.
Leisure and the future, expressions of leisure technology, leisure in a capitalist world, the power of the child, work-leisure balance, generational theory and predicting the future of work and leisure in society, the Boomers and Generation Y, serious leisure.
