School of Management
The course focuses on an integration of management theory and its application to arts organisations. It provides students with an understanding of the arts as an industry, covering the application of strategic management and planning processes, managing the arts as business and income generation approaches.
This course covers many administrative functions including: strategic planning and management; financial management and business planning; income generation; fundraising and sponsorship including submission writing; and entrepreneurial management in the arts, control and evaluation.
