An analysis of world trading patterns. Australian performance and opportunities in the international market. Culture as a key business environmental factor. Researching and understanding overseas markets. Performance factors that determine international competitiveness. Market entry: licensing, franchising, turnkey contracts, contract manufacture, acquisition and overseas subsidiaries. International pricing, product and promotional standardisation, distribution practices, international selling and negotiation techniques.
