Construction Management

Interested in Construction Management?

Modern construction is a complex and highly organised global business.

Every construction project is different, with new challenges all the time in planning, design, construction, commissioning and evolving project teams. There are large capital investments, sophisticated construction techniques, a highly skilled labour force, and real-time project information systems.

The construction industry is rapidly changing, with bigger and more technically complex buildings being built and a digital revolution underway. These challenges mean that this is a dynamic and exciting industry to work in.

At the University of South Australia, we develop our qualifications with input from industry. They are taught by academics with strong industry associations to develop industry-ready graduates. Undergraduate UniSA construction management studies incorporate strong theoretical teaching with experience-based learning through the UniSA STEM Professional Practice Program.
Our construction programs will help build your future, shaping your career options in one of these areas: Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Construction Management.

What others are saying

I was interested in a career within construction that was hands-on, yet still included a focus on management, so this degree was the perfect blend. My studies have taken me overseas to South Korea where I was lucky enough to experience different dynamics and cultural practices within the construction industry. I’ve also secured part-time employment as an estimator and look forward to a career in the commercial sector when I graduate.
