Course aim

To develop students' knowledge of interaction design and usability focusing on research, analysis and evaluation methods as well as developing knowledge of design principles and heuristics for user centered design.

Course content

The students will develop knowledge of the principles and methods for usability and interaction design. Students will develop skills in user-centered research,design development and product evaluation used in practice to make products practical and easy to use. In addition students will develop high levels of expertise and skill in design simulation, development and communication via text, oral presentations, three-dimensional model making, CAD, hand drawing and graphic presentations.
