Course aim

This course will enable learners to build on their experience of the workplace gained through the study of the course Learning in the Workplace 1 to undertake a workplace learning project.

Course content

Students will develop a project plan to undertake a work based development project for an organisation. They will work with the organisation to carefully define the required outcomes of the project. Working with staff from the organisation and support from the University, they will develop and implement, where possible, appropriate solutions. They will prepare an evaluation plan for the project and, where time permits, implement the evaluation. Students will complete a learning journal throughout the course reflecting on their experience from implementing the development project.
