The French for Education major and sub-major will enable graduates to teach French in a secondary school setting from Years 7-12. The French for Education major and sub-major are only available for students in the Bachelor of Secondary Education (Honours) program.

Notes

  1. Students of European languages may include a study abroad experience. Students intending to seek OS-HELP funding for this course will be required to take the course after completion of a full year of study, and have at least 0.125 EFTSL of their program left to complete once they have finished their overseas study. If the course is completed in the final semester of their program, all associated costs will be borne by the student.
  2. LANG 3036 European Languages In-Country is studied at an approved tertiary institute in a country that is appropriate for the target language. Students intending to complete a study abroad semester need to negotiate the integration of this within their program study plan, consulting with their Program Director.
  3. Contact UniSA Education Futures for an alternative course if you do not want to complete an in-country study tour.
  4. The major comprises 6 courses (36 units); the sub-major comprises 5 courses (27 units).
