Children, Families and Society aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to identify and respond to social issues impacting on the wellbeing of children in the context of families, communities and society. Students will develop an understanding of key theories, societal contexts, policies, legislation and national and international strategies to promote and safeguard child and family wellbeing. Students will also develop child-focused and inclusive practice skills, including those required to work effectively and ethically with diversity.
