SA Health-sponsored study
Registered Nurses and Midwives working for SA Health may be eligible to have the first course of a Graduate Certificate qualification sponsored by their employer as part of the Clinical Specialisation Program. This opportunity is for Registered Nurses and Midwives currently employed by SA Health in South Australia who are interested in upskilling in key priority clinical specialty areas. Applicants can apply for one of these degrees, with their employer’s written support, to access the sponsorship:
- Graduate Certificate in Midwifery (SA Health Clinical Specialisation Program)
- Graduate Certificate in Nursing (SA Health Clinical Specialisation Program)

What levels of qualification are available?
We offer Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas, and Master programs. Many of these programs are nested to provide flexible entry and exit points, and can be applied as credits to further study.
You will receive any qualification you complete the full course for. For example, if you do not complete the full Master of Nursing but complete 18 units of study to qualify for the Graduate Certificate, you can finish your studies and graduate with the Graduate Certificate qualification.

What credit can I receive for previous studies?
You may be eligible for credit towards your degree depending on your prior skills, experience, and study. You will be able to apply for credit once admitted into the program.
