Aim

The program prepares students for careers in a wide range of resource management agencies and industries and equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to take a leadership role and responsibility in those organisations.

Content & Structure

The Master of Environmental Science requires the completion of 72 units of courses including a Masters Research Project.On completion of the program, students should be able to:

  • reflect critically on theory and professional practice related to environmental science and management
  • understand and incorporate new techniques into the solution of environmental science, management and sustainability issues
  • investigate, analyse and synthesise complex information to solve complex environmental and sustainability issues facing the public, private, government and non-government sectors
