Aim

The Master of Finance is designed to equip students with the key knowledge and practical skills required for employment in a modern globalised financial sector. The Master of Finance will provide students with a strong understanding of the theory of finance, in addition to practical skills which are aligned with industry standards and requirements. Students completing this program will be well equipped to deal with practical issues in the financial services sector based on a strong platform of advanced and applied concepts in finance.

Content & Structure

The program requires the completion of 16 courses totalling 72 units including four business courses, four core finance courses, and two electives.

The core business courses are:

  • Accounting for Management M
  • Commercial Law M
  • Economic Principles for Business
  • Statistics for Data Science

The core finance courses are:

  • Corporate Finance
  • Financial Theory and Financial Markets
  • International Finance and
  • Investment Management.
