Aim

This degree covers in a comprehensive way the academic requirements for admission to practice as specified by the Law Admissions Consultative Committee (LACC) in the Uniform Admission Rules. Graduates seeking admission to practice are further required to complete an approved practical legal training (PLT) program in order to meet the full requirements for admission to legal practice. PLT programs are provided by a range of service providers in both South Australia and interstate. The degree also offers an excellent foundation for many legally related careers including in, public policy and advice, law reform, alternative dispute resolution, business and administration, education and academia, legal research, community sector advocacy, international policy and industrial relations.

In addition to the academic requirements of the program, students seeking admission to practice are required to complete an approved practical legal training (PLT) program.
