Aim

To develop the knowledge and skills of students in core topics in ICT and in either the specialisation of Networking and Security or Business Intelligence.

Content & Structure

A total of 36 units of study must be completed for the degree.The program comprises a common core and a minor from a specialisation plan. All students must pass 18 units of core courses and 18 units from their chosen plan.

From 4 August 2025, the University of South Australia will no longer be accepting applications for new students. Study at Adelaide University.

Rules

1. Students must take the course INFT 5020 Enterprise Architectures M.

2. Students should consult with the Program Director about their selection of courses.

3. Any course substitutions or variations of the schedule must be approved by the Program Director.

4. Students who want to take all three of these courses: Networking for Small Business, CCNP Route M and CCNP Switch and Troubleshoot M must complete them in that order. Networking for Small Business is a pre-requisite for CCNP Route M, and CCNP Route M is a pre-requisite for CCNP Switch and Troubleshoot M.
