This program has been withdrawn and will not have any further intakes from mid 2013.
The program has been devised to give a very broad engineering knowledge in the first 2 years so that graduates have an extensive understanding of basic fundamentals and an appreciation of the diversity of engineering. The first year contains study in fundamental science and engineering courses including electrical and energy systems and mathematics. The second year builds on this base with courses dealing with a variety of areas including biomechanics, human physiology and biomedical instrumentation. Students then transfer to Flinders University to complete their award.
