Applicants must be 18 years of age or over before February 1st of the year of intended enrolment for the study period 2 intake or 18 years of age or over before the 1st July of the year of intended enrolment for the study period 5 (midyear) intake.
Applicants who have previously studied at higher education level or completed a TAFE/VET award at Certificate IV or higher will not be considered for admission to this program.
Normally no specific course knowledge is assumed or required for entry, with the exception of the following prerequisites:
In the first study period all students will study courses making up 18 units. In the second study period students will have a choice of seven 18 unit strands oriented to their intended undergraduate program.

Applied Science and Engineering
Business
Education, Arts and Social Sciences
Foundation Studies - UniStart
Health Sciences
Information Technology
Regional - Mount Gambier
Regional - Whyalla
Some undergraduate programs have prerequisites which the appropriate strand is designed to satisfy. Students taking any strand may apply to any undergraduate program for which there are no prerequisites.
