Entry requirements
Applicants for this program are required to have met the following requirements:- Have completed and qualified for a degree through the Chinese educational system; OR
- Gained extensive experience working in the water industry in China through their employment with the Yellow River Conservancy Commission. AND
- It is assumed that all applicants will have a demonstrated background in mathematics (i.e. at least equivalent to year 12 mathematics e.g. Mathematical Studies in South Australia).
This program is designed for applicants pre-selected and employed by Yellow River Conservancy Commission, China.
Aim
The aim of the program is to provide the Yellow River Conservancy Council cohort (YRCC) with a detailed understanding of the ways in which Australian river systems are managed and the experiences of providing alternative water management in a challenging climate.
Content & Structure
The Yellow River Conservancy Council cohort will undertake 18 units of study from selected 4.5 unit courses outlined in the Program Schedule.
