Aim

The program provides Registered Nurses with qualifications in the professional field of Cardiovascular Nursing, develops knowledge and skills, and extends their professional expertise.

Content & Structure

The program, taken over one year of part-time study, requires completion of 18 units of study in the specialty area of Cardiovascular Nursing.  Courses integrate knowledge and understanding of theories, concepts, principles and competencies applied to, and underpinning, the management of individuals at risk of, or known to have, cardiovascular disease.
