Aim

The Bachelor of Media Arts aims to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to design and communicate information on a number of multimedia platforms together with an understanding of the sociological and cultural significance of new communication technologies.

Content & Structure

The Bachelor of Media Arts is equivalent to three years of full-time study or 108 units. The program includes studies in foundation courses, a major of 36 units or 8 courses, a sub-major of 27 units or 6 courses, a course in Indigenous Australian studies and electives of 22.5 units or 5 courses.

Students with advanced standing studying offshore with Asia Pacific Management Institute in Singapore will be given credit equivalent to one and a half years of full-time study or 54 units. Students must complete a major of 36 units (8 x 4.5 unit courses) and two 9 unit courses.
