Aim

The Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Advanced and Extended Practice) aims to help prepare experienced allied health graduates for advanced and extended scope of practice roles. The program aims to increase knowledge, clinical skills, clinical reasoning, and expertise relevant to advanced and extended scope of practice for allied health practitioners.

Content & Structure

Students will undertake courses in critical thinking and reasoning, pharmacology and image interpretation. The program culminates in an advanced allied health study designed to provide the opportunity for students to advance and extend their skills and knowledge within a defined area.

 Students will be required to successfully complete 18 units for the award.
