This course will introduce students to a range of essential skills, effective learning strategies, and adaptable frameworks suited for the university context with a focus on promoting success in their further Bachelor studies. Students will build their self-awareness skills and align these with their study goals, whilst also developing transferable skills required for undergraduate studies.
This course will introduce students to the necessary skills required for effective undergraduate study. Students will research, investigate, and reflect on their study practices and develop an awareness of their intended study options. Students will develop strategies that will assist their personal and professional development. Students will develop their digital skills, academic literacy and build their presentation skills to highlight their academic research skills and theoretical understanding. Students will have the opportunity to examine their personal strengths as well as critically reflect on the areas for development and demonstrate how they can leverage these to achieve their goals.
