To develop specialised knowledge of the theory, assessment and management techniques for acute physiotherapy practice across the lifespan.
Advanced knowledge of the pathology and psychosocial constructs of selected cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic and neurological conditions presenting across the lifespan in acute care settings.
Students will incorporate principles of clinical reasoning into the safe and effective application of assessment and management techniques appropriate for acute care settings.
