To encourage students to leverage some of the current research directions being pursued in IT to improve their workplace.
Students will undertake research on a topic in consultation with their manager at their workplace. Topics of research may include Human Computer Interaction; Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning; Software Engineering; Cybersecurity; Augmented and Virtual Reality; Data Science. Students have access to the researchers in the field that they are exploring and will formulate a report for their workplace and as directed by their manager. Students will have access to the presentations from researchers.
