Creature Animation

Course aim

To enable students to realistically animate quadruped and other real and mythical characters, within a given environment and camera movement.

Course content

Students will be introduced to the realistic animation of real and imagined creatures. Building on their knowledge in Assets Animation and Human Animation, students will gather the required reference data and deepen their analytical skills to use the data collected to create an original creature animation. Students will familiarise themselves with a variety of creatures' rigs and motion and develop the skills necessary to create industry standard creature animations.
