Course aim

To prepare students with the literacy and numeracy skills required for a professional career in teaching.

Course content

Students will develop their literacy and numeracy skills in preparation for a career in teaching. For literacy, students will develop skills in understanding, evaluating, organising and analysing texts. In the numeracy component, students will increase their confidence and ability in interpreting, using and communicating mathematical concepts in different contexts.
