To introduce the principles underpinning good coaching practice and apply them in training sessions for diverse populations.
This course develops knowledge and skills in the area of sports coaching, with an emphasis placed on coaching pedagogy highlighting the social, cultural and pedagogical concepts underpinning good coaching practice. The course introduces the application of coaching principles as outlined by the Australian Sports Commission to the coaching environment.
