Course aim

An introductory physics course for health science professionals which aims to provide a fundamental understanding of physics principles and techniques required to form a basis for future studies in health sciences.

Course content

This course curriculum covers the foundations for an understanding of physics with an emphasis on its application within the health sciences. Students will explore physical principles and concepts in relation to how they can be used to describe and solve biological and physical problems using mathematical methods and analysing results.
