To develop advanced knowledge of clinical syndromes of the musculoskeletal system and their underlying biopsychosocial constructs and proficiency in the autonomous assessment and management of individuals presenting for a physiotherapy service.
This course provides direct, best practice experience of a private health service delivery model. Students will be responsible for organising and managing all aspects of patient care including an evidence based approach to clinical assessments and interventions, monitoring of progress using appropriate outcome measures, education, and decision-making regarding continuation or cessation of care or on-referral. Students will perform administrative tasks (appointment booking, statistics, etc.,) consistent with requirements of private health service delivery.
