Course aim

To focus on maintaining the various aspects of the organisation's security controls in a functional state, as well as the processes and procedures needed to maintain security across people, processes, and technology.

Course content

Students in this course will cover the topics of: Logging and monitoring; configuration management; foundational security operations concepts and resource protection; incident management; operating detective and preventative measures; patching and vulnerability management; recovery strategies; disaster recovery processes; testing disaster recovery plans; business continuity planning; physical security; personnel safety and security.
