The aim of this course is to develop skills in legal analytics, research and writing.
Legal analytics tools help lawyers explore and analyse law firm data, litigation processes, corporate disclosures, regulatory determinations, contracts, and other legal material to identify, evaluate how the law functions and even predict how the law will function.
During this course students will learn how to use legal analytics tools to draw insights from various sources of legal data. They will apply their analysis to research issues related to legal policy development and/or the operation of the law.
