Course aim

The aim of this course is to provide students with a foundational overview of the law of torts, including negligence and a representative range of other torts.

Course content

This course introduces students to the law of torts, including negligence, trespass, nuisance, and defamation. It also introduces students to the skills required for the study and practice of law, including written legal communication, legal problem solving, legal argument, and legal reasoning.
